LAGOS — Eleven companies listed on the Nigerian Exchange reported combined profit of N3.06 trillion in the first half of 2026, according to a review of their results by Daily Trust. MTN Nigeria's profit before tax rose 75.4 per cent to N1.09 trillion and it declared an interim dividend of N26 per share. First HoldCo's profit before tax rose 83.5 per cent to N653.5 billion, while Dangote Cement, BUA Cement and HBM Nigeria also posted higher profits.
