LAGOS — HBM Nigeria, formerly Lafarge Africa, reported profit after tax of N208 billion for the first half of 2026, up 57 per cent from N132.6 billion. Net sales rose 31 per cent and operating profit 51 per cent. Chief Executive Lolu Alade-Akinyemi said engineering design has begun for a third production line in Calabar with capacity of 3 million tonnes.
