ABUJA — Five towers on the Ikot Abasi–Eket 132kV transmission line in Akwa Ibom State collapsed after vandals removed their bracings, the Transmission Company of Nigeria said. Parts were also stolen from seven other towers, which are now at risk. TCN said it rerouted supply and alerted security agencies.
