LAGOS — Agritech company ThriveAgric has raised about N5.3 billion through its first commercial paper issue, above its N5 billion target. The issue is part of a N50 billion programme approved by the SEC. Chief Executive Uka Eje said the money will fund working capital, crop aggregation and the expansion of its network of 1.2 million smallholder farmers, who grow soybeans, sesame, sorghum and maize.
