NLNG Accuses Gas Offtakers of Inflating Cooking Gas Prices

LAGOS — Nigeria LNG says some companies that buy cooking gas from it lifted the product at N800 to N900 per kilogramme and sold it at up to N2,400, hoarding to create scarcity. Managing Director Adeleye Falade said NLNG now favours buyers that supply retailers directly. He said the company supplied 500,000 tonnes of LPG to the domestic market last year, and that Train 7 will raise LPG output by 50 per cent.
