ABUJA — Finance Minister Taiwo Oyedele says the Federal Government's additional spending between June 2023 and December 2025 totalled N30.64 trillion, including N9.39 trillion on wages, N9.37 trillion on external debt service and N6.47 trillion on infrastructure. Presenting a reform scorecard, he said savings from the removal of the fuel subsidy reached N15.8 trillion, shared between the federal, state and local governments. He acknowledged that the reforms had not been painless.
