LAGOS — The Office of the Tax Ombud has received more than 20 genuine complaints in its first three months, mostly against state revenue services, Tax Ombud John Nwabueze said. Eight have been resolved within the 14-day statutory period. He said the office plans to open branches in all six geopolitical zones and run a nationwide campaign on multiple taxation, and is preparing for disputes over the taxation of digital assets.
