LAGOS — Air Peace Chairman Allen Onyema has warned that many Nigerian airlines could go out of business unless action is taken within 30 days. Speaking at a book launch in Lagos, he criticised plans by aviation unions to picket airlines over the alleged non-remittance of the 5 per cent ticket sales charge, and said more than 50 Nigerian airlines have collapsed over the years. He called for a committee to review aviation taxes and charges.
