LAGOS — The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria says industry is slowing even as the wider economy grows. Director-General Segun Ajayi-Kadir said industrial growth fell from 7.46 per cent in the second quarter of 2025 to 3.96 per cent in the same quarter of 2026, and the share of manufacturing in GDP dropped to 7.72 per cent. He proposed dedicated power supply for industrial clusters, matching grants for solar and a credit guarantee scheme.
