ABUJA — The Federal Government will review the Export Expansion Grant, which has not been paid since about 2020, Trade Minister Jumoke Oduwole has said. She said the scheme in its current form is not sustainable and encourages the export of raw materials. The backlog of claims will be cleared with promissory notes through the Debt Management Office once the National Assembly approves, and 40 per cent of the export fund will go to an independently managed trade facilitation fund.
