LAGOS — The Dangote Petroleum Refinery plans to almost double its workforce as it expands capacity from 700,000 to 1.4 million barrels per day, Dangote Industries Vice President Devakumar Edwin said. The expansion is partly funded by the refinery's N2.2 trillion IPO. The company reported a profit after tax of $1.8 billion on revenue of more than $13 billion in the first half of 2026, against a loss a year earlier.
