ABEOKUTA — A dispute between Chinese shareholders over control of Crown Ceramics Nigeria Ltd is before the Federal High Court in Abeokuta, according to court documents seen by Premium Times. Shareholders holding 65 per cent of the company accuse its managing director, Chen Dongfeng, who holds about 8 per cent, of seizing control. A petition to the EFCC dated 10 July alleges that about N40 billion was diverted, and the investors say they put more than $25 million into the company. Chen's lawyer, Emeka Ekweozor, denied all the allegations.
