LAGOS — The Airline Operators of Nigeria have warned of an industry-wide shutdown if aviation unions repeat action like that taken against Air Peace on 11 August. The association said that action disrupted more than 70 Air Peace flights and more than 30 United Nigeria flights, affecting about 13,000 passengers. The dispute involves a 5 per cent ticket sales charge and the unionisation of airline staff. The operators also said aviation fuel costs more than N2,500 per litre.
