ABUJA — Central Bank Governor Olayemi Cardoso and Finance Minister Taiwo Oyedele have signed a memorandum of understanding to coordinate monetary and fiscal policy. Cardoso later cited the agreement as one of the reasons for the bank's decision to cut interest rates.
