LAGOS — The Central Bank of Kenya has approved the transfer of Access Bank Kenya's operations to National Bank of Kenya, which Access Bank bought from KCB in May 2025. Kenya's Treasury Cabinet Secretary approved the transaction on 21 September. The merger resolves a capital shortfall at Access Bank Kenya.
