ISEYIN — Oyo Sugar and Derivatives Industries has completed a 300-tonnes-per-day sugar mill in Iseyin, Oyo State, and is test-running it ahead of commissioning, the National Sugar Development Council said. The council has invested about N1.64 billion in the project out of a total commitment of about N2.2 billion, while the Oyo State Government contributed about N850 million in equity. The project began as a cooperative farming initiative under the Nigeria Sugar Master Plan.
