LAGOS — Vehicle financing company Moove is ending its operations in Nigeria six years after it was founded in Lagos by Ladi Delano and Jide Odunsi. The company said vehicles worth about N35 billion will be handed to its current customers with no further payments from 1 October 2026, and that every Nigerian employee will receive a car. Co-chief executive Delano said Uber's exit from Nigeria about a month earlier made the local model unsustainable. Moove served more than 9,000 Nigerian drivers, who generated about N57 billion in revenue. It started with 76 cars in Lagos and now runs about 42,000 vehicles in 29 cities around the world.
