LAGOS — Tony Elumelu is co-chairing the West Africa Integration and Investment Summit, which will hold on 17 and 18 November in Lungi, Sierra Leone, at the invitation of President Julius Maada Bio. Organisers say 26 projects worth more than $10 billion have been shortlisted from 170 submissions from over 10 countries, and that the pipeline could reach $15 billion. Sierra Leonean envoy Kandeh Yumkella said possible financiers include UBA, Afreximbank, Africa Finance Corporation and Africa50. The amount represents the value of projects on offer, not money already committed.
