OPay Gets Approval for Secondary Listing on Nigerian Exchange

LAGOS — OPay has received approval from its board and shareholders for a secondary listing on the Nigerian Exchange, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission dated 9 October. The company plans a primary listing of American depositary shares on the New York Stock Exchange. The Nigerian listing depends on the New York listing going ahead and on regulatory approval. NGX officials had asked President Tinubu in August to encourage technology companies to list at home.
