AKURE — Sunday Dele-Ajayi, chairman of the Ondo State Football Association and a former Regent of Akure, has gone to court to stop Mobil PLC from evicting him from a filling station he operates in Akure. In the suit filed at the Ondo State High Court, he argues that eviction notices dated 25 September and 5 October 2026 breach the terms of his agreement with the company. A letter from his lawyers, dated 16 October and made public on Sunday, asked Mobil not to take any step while the case is pending. He is represented by Olusola Oke. Mobil had not publicly responded.
