LAGOS — Dangote Petroleum Refinery said on Sunday that its initial public offering has attracted subscribers from more than 90 countries, including 51 of Africa's 54 nations. In a statement, the company said the offer set a Nigerian market record on its first day and passed the previous African record within ten days. It also restated its results for the nine months to 30 September 2026: revenue of $22.5 billion, up 144 per cent from $9.2 billion, and a net profit of $4.7 billion against a loss of $117.2 million a year earlier. The company said it moved from net debt of $1.73 billion in September 2025 to net cash of $651 million. Dangote Group Chief Financial Officer Murat Erden said the refinery's performance was already ahead of the assumptions used to value the offer. The IPO, priced at N525 per share, closes on 27 October 2026 and the company said no further extension is planned.
