LAGOS — Industrialist Aliko Dangote has agreed to appear on "Curiosity Made Me Ask", the YouTube interview and comedy show hosted by comedian Adebayo Abidemi, known as Isbae U.

The exchange took place on Monday when Isbae U visited the Dangote Refinery in Lagos during an event tagged "Vision 2030", and a video of it spread widely on Tuesday. The comedian told Dangote that his past interviews were on platforms young people do not watch, noting the interest young Nigerians have shown in the company's planned share offer. Dangote promised to come on the show.

In the video, Dangote said his generation had not done well enough for Nigeria and Africa, and remarked that most young Nigerians know little about former President Shehu Shagari. He also recalled meeting boxing legend Muhammad Ali in Washington as a boy, in the company of his grandfather.

Past guests on the show include former President Olusegun Obasanjo, actor Richard Mofe-Damijo and veteran actor Pete Edochie.
