ABUJA — Two men, Arinze Nwogba and Sunday Nweke, have been arraigned before the Federal High Court in Abuja on charges of impersonating the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
The amended seven-count charge, brought by the police, covers impersonation, fraud and cybercrime. Both defendants pleaded not guilty before Justice Salim Ibrahim.
Nwogba was first arraigned on 2 October on a six-count charge and was granted bail of N50 million with two sureties on 7 October. The court allowed him to remain on the same bail, while Nweke was remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre.
The trial was adjourned to 25 November.
