KADUNA — The National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Dr Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, has accused the Tinubu administration of humiliating and neglecting northerners.
In a post on Facebook, Baba-Ahmed listed Zamfara, Kebbi, Sokoto, Katsina, Borno, Yobe, Kwara, Kaduna, Plateau, Kogi and Nasarawa, and asked what leaders from those states who support the President would tell voters. He urged northerners to reject vote-buying and warned that no one should attempt to manipulate the results if voters turn against the All Progressives Congress (APC). "Let the contest begin," he wrote, addressing the President's supporters.
Reacting, the Kaduna State Commissioner for Information, Ahmed Maiyaki, said the President's supporters would campaign for him without fear and predicted that Tinubu would win the 2027 election. He urged Baba-Ahmed to avoid divisive remarks.
