ABUJA — The African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has pledged to end rigging and strengthen the independence of INEC if elected. Speaking at the party headquarters in Abuja to mark Nigeria's 66th Independence anniversary, he backed the prompt public release of polling unit results and said vote buyers and those who alter results would be prosecuted regardless of party.
