ABUJA — Eighty-four per cent of Nigerians say they are likely to vote in the 2027 elections, according to a survey by Yiaga Africa released in Abuja. The survey of 2,470 adults found that 61 per cent fear violence could keep them away from the polls, and confidence that INEC will conduct credible elections has dropped to 34 per cent from 45 per cent. Fifty-four per cent disapprove of President Tinubu's performance. The presidential election holds on January 16, 2027.
