ABUJA — INEC National Commissioner Mohammed Haruna says political parties that fielded candidates not on their submitted membership registers will not participate in the affected 2027 elections, and no substitutions will be allowed. Speaking on Trust TV's Daily Politics, he said some parties may lose governorship candidates as a result of the Supreme Court judgement of September 24. He also expressed concern about threats during campaigns.
