KANO — Furera Ahmad, the only female governorship candidate in Kano State, has vowed to tackle drug abuse and political thuggery if elected. The candidate of the Because Of Our Tomorrow (BOOT) party accused some politicians of using drugged youths as thugs during campaigns, and urged voters to reject vote buying and judge candidates on competence.
