GOMBE — Supporters of Prof. Isa Pantami held a special prayer session in Gombe after his name was left off INEC's final list of governorship candidates released on October 10. INEC said candidates whose parties failed to submit membership registers within the legal window remain excluded, following a Supreme Court ruling on September 24. Pantami's lawyers gave INEC a three-day ultimatum, while another PDP aspirant has petitioned INEC challenging the party's right to field him.
