ABUJA — The Obidient Movement has warned INEC against deploying artificial intelligence in the 2027 elections without first addressing transparency concerns. National Coordinator Dr Yunusa Tanko was responding to INEC Chairman Prof. Joash Amupitan, who said AI tools are being used to detect result discrepancies and counter deepfakes. Tanko demanded a published election roadmap, an independent audit of INEC's technology and verifiable result transmission.
