GOMBE — The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Gombe State is holding a rerun of its governorship primary after a Federal High Court nullified the May 26 primary. The party cleared three aspirants: Prof. Isa Ali Pantami, Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki and Usman Aliyu Garry. Former Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo backs Pantami. Garry told Daily Trust that Pantami joined the party after the list of aspirants was sent to INEC, while Mailantarki said the court ruling vindicated him.
