ABUJA — The Save Democracy Group of House of Representatives members has urged the National Assembly to reconvene over President Bola Tinubu's absence from the country. The Presidency said Tinubu left on August 30 for a three-week vacation, later extended by a few days. Citing Section 145 of the Constitution, the lawmakers said if no written declaration is sent within 21 days, each chamber should mandate the Vice-President to act as President.
