LAFIA — Musa Shugaba-Abdullahi has emerged as the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) governorship candidate in Nasarawa State following a substitution primary in Lafia. Five state assembly candidates were also selected. The party's state chairman said substitution was needed because placeholders had been used where no aspirants came forward in the May primaries. The candidate's agenda includes free education for children aged three to 19.
