ILORIN — Vice-President Kashim Shettima says only six of the 19 northern governors supported President Bola Tinubu in the 2023 election. He spoke at the Emir of Ilorin's palace during the turbaning of Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as Sardauna of Ilorin. Shettima named former Niger Governor Abubakar Sani Bello and AbdulRazaq before stopping 'to avoid controversy'. He said Tinubu had forgiven those who opposed him and urged Kwara politicians to reconcile after the primaries.
