PORT HARCOURT — The Rivers State chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dr Chukwudi Dimkpa, says intimidation will not win elections. He was responding to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike's claim that ADC vice-presidential candidate Rotimi Amaechi would be defeated 'by 12 noon' on election day. Dimkpa said only INEC declares results, and criticised the timing of a pro-Wike reception held on the day Amaechi was burying his mother.
