DUTSE — The Jigawa State House of Assembly has suspended the chairman of Buji Local Government Area, Najibullahi Falalu Tukur, indefinitely over alleged gross misconduct and misappropriation of funds. The decision followed the adoption of a report by the House Committee on Local Government. Speaker Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin directed the chairman to hand over government property to the vice chairman, and an ad-hoc committee was set up to investigate the allegations.
