Modele Sarafa-Yusuf, a former adviser to Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, has resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC). She announced her decision on X and in a letter to the Ogun APC. Her resignation comes about four months after Senator Solomon Adeola was given the party's governorship ticket by consensus. She had declared her own governorship ambition in February.
