ABUJA — The chairman of Kuje Area Council, Samuel Danjuma Shekwolo, says he was quoted out of context after a video showed him telling residents they must support the APC or leave. The video drew criticism from Amnesty International and political scientists, who cited constitutional rights to freedom of choice. The ADC, through its spokesman Bolaji Abdullahi, demanded that the police and DSS arrest and charge the chairman. Residents who spoke to journalists asked him to apologise.
