KATSINA — The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) presidential candidate and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has named former Director-General of the Department of State Services, Lawal Musa Daura, as his running mate. The announcement was made at the party's convention in Bauchi. Makinde cited security as the main reason for the choice. Daura headed the DSS from 2015 to 2018. Analysts who spoke to Daily Trust said the question is whether his security background will translate into votes in the North-West.
