ABUJA — The forum of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) state chairmen aligned with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has asked security agencies to investigate the faction led by Kabiru Tanimu Turaki for alleged forgery and distortion of court judgements. Forum chairman Austin Nwachukwu told a press conference at the party headquarters that members of the Turaki group had been expelled and were posing as a faction. The chairmen said the National Working Committee led by Abdulrahman Mohammed and National Secretary Samuel Anyanwu is the only leadership recognised by INEC and the courts. They also asked former President Goodluck Jonathan to publicly distance himself from the Turaki faction.
