JOS — The Plateau State chapter of the Association of Lady Pharmacists of Nigeria has called for an end to child marriage and more investment in girls' education. The association marked the International Day of the Girl Child at Rochas Foundation College, Jos, under the theme 'End Child Marriage, Invest in Girls' Rights'. The chairperson of the Plateau Gender and Equal Opportunities Commission, Olivia Dazyam, said child marriage is not culture. Students from at least seven schools attended, and sanitary pads were distributed to more than 300 girls.
