JALINGO — Retired Maj. Gen. Adamu Ibrahim, who lost the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary for Taraba South Senatorial District, has petitioned the party's national chairman seeking the disqualification of Senator David Jimkuta. The petition, dated September 21, alleges that Jimkuta submitted forged NECO certificates to the party and INEC. However, classmates from the 2000 set at Government Secondary School, Wukari, said his name appears on the list of that set, the school's first to write NECO, although this does not authenticate the specific certificate in question. An associate of the senator demanded evidence for the allegation. INEC lists Jimkuta as the APC candidate.
