ABUJA — The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) is funding innovation hubs in 45 tertiary institutions across the six geopolitical zones. The Executive Secretary, Arc. Sonny Echono, represented by Arc. Babatunde Olajide, disclosed this at the close of Cohort 34 of the Research for Impact programme, run with Innov8 Technology Hub, in Abuja on Friday. He said earlier cohorts had produced prototypes, some of which have been patented, and that the number of nominees per institution has risen from one to four. The next phase of the programme will focus on commercialising research outputs.
