JOS — A Plateau State High Court presided over by Justice N.D. Shaseet has dismissed a counterclaim by Abubakar Musa Pam seeking ownership of the land on which Filin Sukuwa Primary School in Jos North Local Government Area stands. The judgement was delivered on Thursday. The counterclaim had sought to transfer the property on Bauchi-Ring Road to Pam and two others, but the court found it lacked merit. Counsel to the community, Barrister A. Oloche, said both the claim and counterclaim were dismissed, meaning the community will continue to manage the site, which also hosts a primary healthcare facility. The original suit was filed in May 2023.
