LAGOS — The 1976/81 set of the Old Grammarians Society is marking 50 years since its members were admitted to CMS Grammar School, Lagos, which was founded in 1859. The programme includes a reception on October 8, a visit to the school on October 9 and a trip to Abeokuta on October 10. Celebrations end on October 11 with a thanksgiving service at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina, followed by a luncheon and fundraiser chaired by retired Supreme Court Justice Bode Rhodes-Vivour. The chairman of the planning committee, Kayode Olu-Martins, said the set is raising money to sponsor a classroom in the Tola Adebonojo ICT Building as its legacy project.
