SOKOTO — Pinnacle Humanitarian Care Initiative (PHCI), an arm of Pinnacle Guest Inn and Resort, has donated writing materials to 10 schools in the Gagi area of Sokoto South Local Government Area. The donation was made in partnership with the Sokoto State Government and the palace of the Sarkin Gagi. The organisation said it plans to reach more schools and later provide computer laboratories. Mrs Amaka Adinnu urged parents to keep their children, especially girls, in school. The Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Prof. Ahmad Ladan Alla, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Dr Sanusi Aliyu Binji, said the state paid more than N3.5 billion in 2026 for students' WAEC, NECO and NABTEB examination fees.
