The Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria (MSSN) has honoured Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, former Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), describing his record as proof that integrity can transform public institutions. Speakers at the reception noted that under Oloyede, who led JAMB from 2016 to 2026, the board remitted close to N8 billion to government in one year, compared with less than N50 million over the previous 40 years. Oloyede, born in Abeokuta in 1954, graduated with a first class degree from the University of Ilorin in 1981, became a professor in 1995 and an emeritus professor in 2025. He introduced computer-based testing at the University of Ilorin in 2008. He is the Secretary-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs.
