OWERRI — The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), has confirmed the release of two female students who were kidnapped on campus on Sunday. The university's Public Relations Officer, Orakwe Ezugwu, said the students are receiving medical and psychological care at the university medical centre. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ikechukwu Dozie, visited them. The university thanked the police for their efforts and said security on campus would be maintained.
