ABUJA — The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has moved the reporting time for candidates in the first session of the 2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination from 6:30am to 7:30am. The examination will run from 8:30am to 10:30am. The board said the change was made for the safety of candidates and for logistical reasons, especially for those who travel long distances to examination centres. The decision was taken at JAMB's management and IT retreat in Ikot Ekpene from September 6 to 11. The board said it expects the change to reduce absenteeism.
