ABUJA — The Federal Ministry of Education has announced that Federal Unity Colleges will reopen for the new academic session on Monday, September 14, 2026. In a statement issued through the Director of Press, Boriowo Folasade, the Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, said security agencies had been informed and would remain vigilant around the colleges. He urged parents to remain calm and rely only on official information, and directed college authorities to coordinate closely with security agencies. The statement came amid concerns over security and the operation of some of the colleges.
